Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how AI PDF Reader & Converter (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects and uses information when you use the app.
What data we collect
- Device identifier: a random device ID stored locally and sent to our backend to link AI summaries, chat history, and audio versions.
- PDF content: when you use AI features, PDFs or extracted text are sent to our backend for processing and stored to enable future AI responses (RAG).
- AI outputs: summaries, chat replies, and generated audio metadata are stored to show versions and history.
- Ad identifiers: AdMob may collect advertising identifiers to serve ads.
How we use data
- Provide AI summaries, AI chat, and AI audio.
- Store linked AI outputs so you can access previous versions.
- Improve reliability and prevent abuse (rate limiting).
Third‑party services
- Google AdMob (ads)
- Google Gemini (AI processing)
- Sarvam AI (text-to-speech when configured)
Data retention
AI data is retained so that you can access previous summaries, chat history, and audio versions. We automatically delete AI-related data after 90 days of inactivity. When you delete a PDF from the Library, we attempt to delete linked AI records on our backend.
Your choices
You can delete a PDF in the app to remove its linked AI content. You can also request data deletion by emailing jlsingh38@gmail.com.
